Wake Forest Player Countdown: No. 66 Taylor Chambers

Number 66 on our player countdown is offensive lineman Taylor Chambers.

Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

Coming in at number 66 in the Blogger So Dear player countdown for the upcoming football season is offensive lineman Taylor Chambers. Chambers is a redshirt freshman from Columbia, S.C. and attended Irmo High School, where he was first team all-state in 4A his senior season. At 6'8", 300 lbs, Chambers is slated in as an offensive tackle and will potentially see action this season as a reserve. Currently it is unclear where Chambers falls in the rotation on the offensive line, but he has a chance to be in the two-deep at the start of the season.

Chambers had offers from Southern Mississippi and Wake Forest and pretty warm interest from Clemson, N.C. State, South Carolina and Georgia. He is in the same class as Cory Helms and Cameron Gardner and will look to provide help for the offensive line alongside these guys.

Check back tomorrow for number 65 on our list as we count down the entire football roster leading up to the season opener against ULM on August 28th. As always, go Deacs!
