The Wake Forest coaching staff continues to work Florida hard during the 2018 recruiting cycle. Today the staff offered 2018 DE/OT Devin Hayes out of Jones High School in Orlando, Florida.

The 6-6, 250 pound Hayes is listed as a strong-side defensive end and offensive tackle. Depending on which recruiting website you look at tells a different story of where he would play in college.
Hayes has another P5 offer from Rutgers, and medium interest from Florida State, Tennessee, and Ohio State. He was also offered by South Florida in November of 2016, and Florida International earlier this month.
South Florida appears to be the favorite before the Wake Forest offer, so time will tell whether or not this will sway him. It’s clear that the staff at Wake favors him and will be interesting to see how it goes from here.
I could not find a star rating on him for any of the sites that I usually frequent, but there are highlights of Hayes below.
