Ayo Dosunmu is a 6-4, 172 pound combo guard in the class of 2018 out of Morgan Park High School in Chicago, Illinois.
247sports ranks him as a 4-star recruit and as the 28th best prospect in the country, the 3rd best shooting guard, and the best player in the state of Illinois.
Ayo also holds offers from NC State, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Butler, Cincinnati, Creighton, Iowa State, Marquette, Missouri, Northwestern, Oklahoma State, St. John’s, SMU, Texas A&M, UNLV, UTEP, California, Tulane, Wisconsin, Xavier, and Illinois Chicago.
Below are some highlights of what he is capable of doing, including a 51 point outing against one of the best teams in the state of Illinois:
Dosunmu’s stock continues to rise, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up as a 5-star recruit before rankings are finished. He will likely be receiving offers from some of the blue-bloods of college basketball also.
I hope Danny and the staff go after him aggressively, as he seems like a great fit to replace Bryant Crawford after Crawford graduates.
