Wake Has BIG Upcoming Recruiting Weekend

Per Corey Evans, Danny Manning and Wake Forest will hope 2015 big men Doral Moore and John Collins this upcoming weekend. Both are 4-star prospects according to ESPN. Collins took an official visit to Miami this past weekend, while Moore's scheduled visit to Illinois was cancelled. Both players would be excellent additions to the class. 4-star point guard Bryant Crawford is currently the only commit Wake Forest has in the 2015 class.

Florida State Favored Over Wake Forest (Shocker)

The Florida State Seminoles open up as overwhelming favorites against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. The Noles get 3 points for home-field advantage, and Vegas thinks they should get another 35 for talent differential, bringing the grand total to 38 points. The 38 point spread is the largest spread this weekend. Jeff Sagarin's ratings have this as a 30 point spread.

Senior wide receiver Matt James broke his hand on Saturday against Louisville and is expected to be out four to six weeks. It is likely that Jonathan Williams will see significant time while James is out.

Josh Banks Named ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week

Wake Forest's Josh Banks has been named ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week for his performance against Utah State. Banks finished with seven tackle, a sack and two tackles for loss, in addition to his 70-yard interception return for a touchdown.

Cornelius Hudson Cleared to Play This Season

Wake Forest's game against Army on September 20th will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN3. It's the perfect time for a kickoff and should make for a great game and tailgate.
