The Deacs are up against Vandy for the first time in almost decade for their first power 5 opponent and away game of the season. The Commodores have looked very impressive on offense in their first 2 games, but the competition was fairly lacking. For the Deacs, the big news is obviously the return of Sam Hartman, who should be able to get back into the swing of things against a defense that had a lot of trouble stopping Elon last weekend. Vanderbilt is on a 3-game win streak in the series, so hopefully the Deacs can put a stop to that today.
