It’s hard to believe we are already at the final game of the 2022 football season. The Deacs have definitely had their ups and downs this year, but overall, I would say it has been a solid season. Today’s game against the Blue Devils may not mean much in terms of accolades, but a win gets Wake Forest to 8-4 overall and 4-4 in the conference, while a loss puts Wake at 7-5 and 3-5 in the ACC. Visually, a loss makes the season look like a major disappointment on paper, while a win gives the Deacs a chance to get to 9 wins with a bowl victory. With the familiarity between the two head coaches, I know Dave Clawson is going to pull all out the stops to get a win in this one. Let’s finish the season out on a strong note
