The ACC season opener is here and the Wake Forest Demon Deacons host the Florida State Seminoles. The Noles visit Winston-Salem with a surprising 0-2 record after losing to FCS Jacksonville State, the program’s first ever loss to an FCS program. With Coach Mike Norvell being fired up after questions about the direction of the program, the Seminoles should be extremely motivated to get moving in the win column.

For the Deacs, Wake Forest hasn’t really been tested so the opener likely will set the stage for the rest of ACC Conference play.
