The ACC portion of the 2020-21 basketball schedule has been released. As always, the Deacs have NC State and Duke both at home and away. This season, the Deacs will also take on Louisville, Miami, Florida State, and Syracuse twice.

As the font is once again incredibly small, I’ll drop the ACC portion of the graphic below.
- Dec. 4: @ Virginia Tech
- Dec. 22: Boston College
- Dec. 29th: @ Louisville
- Jan 1: @ Miami
- Jan. 4: Florida State
- Jan. 8: Syracuse
- Jan. 12: Duke
- Jan. 15: @ Virginia
- Jan. 19: @ Georgia Tech
- Jan. 22: North Carolina
- Jan. 29: @ Syracuse
- Feb. 2: Pittsburgh
- Feb. 5: @ Florida State
- Feb. 9: @ NC State
- Feb. 12: Miami
- Feb. 15: @ Duke
- Feb. 19: Notre Dame
- Feb. 23: @ Clemson
- Feb. 26: Louisville
- March 3: NC State
At first glance, the toughest portion of the schedule will likely be the mid January slate of Duke, @UVA, GT, UNC, @Syracuse. Besides that, this seems like a fairly favorable schedule (as favorable as the ACC schedule can be) for Wake Forest. They have at most two ACC road games in a row and they avoid having to play Virginia or North Carolina twice, which is always nice. I’ll attempt a way too early prediction for the conference and say that Wake Forest will finish 9-11 in the conference this season. That would be a solid three fold increase for Steve Forbes in year two (year one? Does last year even count?).
Basketball season is right around the corner! Go Deacs!
