The Deacs are 1-0, easily defeating the Old Dominion Monarchs last week 42-10. They should have an easier time this week, taking on an FCS opponent with a new coach that didn’t play last year in Norfolk State. The Spartans got blown out by Toledo last weekend, so I’d have to think Wake should have no trouble at all with the Spartans. With the Florida State game waiting in the wings, the starters will likely get plenty of rest in the second half.
