The transfer portal is all the rage nowadays and Wake Forest has been taking advantage of it in both basketball and football

Wake has gained the commitment of a graduate transfer in Alondes Williams who entered after leaving Oklahoma. Listed as 6-5, 201 pounds, Williams can serve as a crucial depth piece to shore up both the 2 and the 3 for Wake.
While Williams isn’t exactly known for his defensive prowess, he’ll be a welcomed scoring addition off the bench.
Before getting to Oklahoma, he played at Triton College leading the JuCo to a 30-4 record his second year averaging 17.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 5.3 assists.
I personally really like the pickup. It’s one that, while isn’t super flashy, offers good upside, only holds a scholarship for a year, and allows Wake to not get blitzed when their starters are out resting
Welcome to Winson, Alondes!
