The Deacs are back in action today to take on the Oklahoma State Cowgirls in their first NCAA Tournament game since 1988. The Cowgirls finished the season third in the Big 12 conference and lost in the semifinals of the conference tournament to West Virginia. The key to winning this game for Wake will be finding a way to slow down AP Third Team All American Natasha Mack, who is averaging 19.2 points and 12.2 rebounds per game. If the Deacs can keep the 6-4 senior from dominating the glass, they should put themselves in a great position to win the game.
