The Deacs are in the home stretch of the 2020-21 basketball season with just 3 ACC games remaining on the schedule before the ACC tournament. Today, Wake travels north to take on 16th ranked Virginia Tech. The Hokies are currently 8-4 in the conference and the 3rd best team in the ACC, but just suffered a 13 point loss to Georgia Tech in their last game on Tuesday. When Wake and VT met earlier in the season, the Hokies pulled out a 4 point win on the back of Tyrese Radford’s 20 points—Radford has since been suspended from the team, so if everything else works out the same, the Deacs have a chance to bring home a win in this one. It has been a long couple of weeks for Wake, and a win would be just what the doctor ordered.
