After a not so great week on the parquet, the Deacs are back in action tonight this afternoon to take on the Clemson Tigers at the strange time of 4:30pm. At one point this season, Clemson was a surprise powerhouse sitting at 9-1 overall and ranked #12 in the nation. Then they got blown out in three straight games by around 20 points a piece, and it looked like that might start to unravel for the Tigers—Clemson bounced back and is 4-1 in their last 5 game, including a current 3 game winning streak. The obvious lesson here is that getting blown out in few games in a row doesn’t mean the season is over. Let’s see how the Deacs go out and respond after a week that I think pretty much everyone would like to forget.
