It’s the second rematch of the season today as the Deacs go head to head against the NC State Wolfpack. Wake was absolutely run out of the Joel on Wednesday by the Duke Blue Devils; it was such a bad showing for Wake Forest that the Deacs dropped 15 places in KenPom and and 11 places in the NET rankings. Wake really struggled with the tough, physical defense being played by the Blue Devils, which could come into play again today as the Pack have been known to play a similar style on D. In the last matchup between these 2 teams, Wake Forest turned the ball over 20 times and shot just 41% from the floor. Despite that, the Deacs only lost by 5 points, meaning that this should be a very winnable game if Wake can avoid panicking against the full court press that pretty much every team has employed at some point or another against the Deacs this season. Having Ian DuBose this time around could be a game changer for Wake Forest.
