The Deacs have a quick turnaround from their loss at Georgia Tech in the ACC opener, and things aren’t getting any easier as Wake is up against the 22nd ranked Virginia Cavaliers and their infamous packline defense. The last time the Deacs were in Charlottesville, Virginia jumped out to a quick 25-3 lead in the first 10 minutes of the game and won by 23 points. While the Deacs certainly looked like a team that hadn’t played in a month against Tech (18 turnovers, 40% shooting), every game is a chance to get better and build for the future, so let’s see what this team is made of.
