Stop me if you’ve heard this one before, but the Deacs are back in action against ANOTHER top 25 ranked opponent. This will be Wake’s 4th straight against a top 25 opponent, which means I won’t be shocked at all if the Tar Heels somehow get ranked between now and Wednesday. The Hokies have been incredible thus far in Mike Young’s second year at the helm; VT already has wins over 3rd ranked Villanova, 24th ranked Clemson, and 19th ranked Duke on their resume. Their only conference loss this season is a narrow 2-point loss to the Louisville Cardinals. This is going to be another tough matchup for the Deacs, but as the saying goes, the hammer that shatters glass also forges steel.
