Over the past few weeks, Dave Clawson and company have been racking up recruit after recruit. As of this morning, Wake finds themselves with the 36th ranked recruiting class in the nation and right in the middle of the ACC rankings.
With these guys in hand Wake can really start ramping up their recruiting to the best players available and truly make this class something special. But enough about the guys we don’t have, let’s learn about the guys we just added. All names have a link to their 24/7 page as well.

A 3 star Safety out of Cartersville, GA(same high school as JaCorey Johns and Isaiah Chaney), Wake is really starting to develop a pipeline of good players from the powerhouse Georgia high school. Slocum chose Wake over the likes of Duke, Ole Miss and South Carolina. Welcome, Evan!
100% committed!!! Thanks to everyone who helped me along the way. pic.twitter.com/rAcnJnj1xz

a 3 star 6’7 OT from Boston, this one came as a bit of a surprise as he had crystal balls to BC. Regardless of it, I couldn’t be more excited about adding someone to the Beef Boys with such good size and athleticism. Welcome, Erik!

A high 3 star out of Greer, South Carolina, Collins gave his commitment to Wake Forest last Friday night and the staff couldn’t have been happier. Collins chose Wake over offers from Boston College, Duke, Louisville, Syracuse, Tennessee, Maryland, Georgia Tech, Indiana and Pittsburgh. Welcome, Jaydon!

Just yesterday, Wake got their 4th addition to Nick Tabacca’s group in Matt Gulbin. His tape shows him just using his almost 300 pound frame to just bully defensive players . He also shows impressive speed for his size as well and can get downfield to block very easily. Welcome, Matt!
The last month has been fantastic for Wake recruiting wise. Let’s keep it up.
As always,
Go Deacs!
