Wake Forest just landed an absolute unit as offensive tackler Jaydon Collins from Greer, South Carolina has signed his letter of intent with Wake Forest. Collins stands at 6-6, 275 and signed with Wake over offers from Boston College, Duke, Louisville, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Indiana, Pitt, Syracuse, and Tennesee. He also had a decent amount of interest from Clemson and Arizona State made a push for him as well.

He boasts a good size already with room for mass and muscle to be packed on without being too detrimental. Seems to have good feet and length just needs to get stronger. The good thing is Nick Tabacca has a very good track record with tackles and he’s maximized Jake Benzinger, Nate Gilliam, Zach Tom, Justin Herron, and Je’Vionte Nash.

Collins will be enrolling early at Wake so he’ll get to hit the ground running and learn from Nash, Tom, and CJ Elmonus. I love this pickup and Wake continues to get good talent in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Welcome to Wake, Jaydon!
