Hailing from Wall, New Jersey, Jackson Memorial High School 2021 running back Will Towns has signed with Wake Forest. Towns signed with Wake over offers from Boston College, Pittsburgh, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Welcome Will to Deacon Nation! RB who can make you miss and run by you. Great addition to our RB room! #GoDeacs pic.twitter.com/Q4jOGKHWze

During his senior season, Towns ran 188 times for 1,385 yards and 12 touchdowns in 8 games while adding 4 receptions for 111 yards and 2 touchdowns. For these efforts, Towns was named 2nd team All-State and 1st team All-Shore.
Will comes in at 5-11 190, shows good burst, vision, and a willingness to take on blocks which is something Clawson loves, he has commented over and over that he wants to see what the back does without the ball in his hands vs what they do with the ball in their hands. He’ll join a room that is loaded with talent in Kenneth Walker III, Quenton Cooley Ahmani Marshall, Justice Ellison, and possibly 1 more year of Christian Beal-Smith.
Welcome to Winston, Will!
