Christian Greene, a 6-2, 170 lb wide receiver from Ashburn, Virginia, has signed early to play for Wake Forest. Greene is rated as a 3-star prospect by 247Sports and is listed as the 152nd best wide receiver in the 2021 class. Greene chose Wake Forest over competing offers from Air Force, Army, Navy, Kent State, Liberty, and UMass.

Greene played at Briar Woods High School in Ashburn, Virginia, where he started at quarterback for the Falcons. From what I can tell, Briar Woods’ football season was postponed until February due to the coronavirus, so Greene quite likely still has some high school football left to play. In 2019, Greene earned all-5C region honors, completing 114 of 223 passes (51.1%) for 1,910 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also ran the ball 133 times for 1,098 yards (8.26 ypc) and 9 touchdowns. Check out his 2019 season highlights below.
While Greene will not be playing quarterback at Wake Forest, his athleticism should give him all the tools he needs to be a great wide receiver for the Deacs. Welcome to Wake Forest Christian, and Go Deacs!
