While the first game of the Steve Forbes era was a resounding success, none of that 60 point margin can help the Deacs today against the Longwood Lancers. I was encouraged by all the things I saw on Wednesday—the movement, the defense, the assists, the fact that Wake Forest finally has some 3-point shooter just to name a few. That being said, 1 game doesn’t mean much over the course of the season, so it would be great to see that these things are going to be consistently good for the Deacs this season.
