For the third time this week, Wake Forest and the ACC have announced changes to the Deacons’ remaining football schedule.

Wake will now not play a conference game next week (November 28), but will play games at home against Miami on December 5, at home against Notre Dame on December 12, and on the road at Louisville on December 19. The game against Duke that was previously scheduled for today will not be made up. December 19 is the last possible day for regular season football activities in the ACC.
The ACC has given Wake the option to add a non-conference opponent next Saturday in order to play the full 11 games. Some have posited that Wake could look to add a game with Western Carolina, as the Catamounts are scheduled to play North Carolina December 5, but given that there are confirmed COVID cases in the program it is doubtful that the team will add another game next week.
Athletics director John Currie said that pending testing results, Wake Forest could resume football activities as early as this afternoon.
Get well Deacs. Wear a mask.
