The Wake Forest Women’s Basketball team refuses to lose in 2020. The Deacs beat the Clemson Tigers 63-58 on Thursday night to grab their 3rd straight conference win, improving to 10-5 overall and 3-1 in the ACC for just the second time in program history (per Les Johns).

Wake was once again led by junior Ivana Raca, who finished with a game high 24 points and 10 rebounds, bringing her averages over the 3 game streak to 19.3 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. She also got her second straight double double, following a 19 point, 12 rebound performance in the win over Georgia Tech last Sunday.
It wasn’t a 1 woman show for the Deacs though, as Wake assisted on 15 of their 21 made baskets in the game. Senior Alex Sharp added 16 points on 6-12 shooting including 4-5 from beyond the arc, and junior Gina Conti shared the ball to the tune of a team high 9 assists to help the Deacs pick up the win in front of the home crowd.
Wake Forest will now head to Louisville to take on a top 10 Cardinals team on Sunday at 2:00pm. Louisville has lost just 1 game all season and currently sits at #7 in the nation. I smell an upset.
