Sage narrowly edged out Justin Strnad in voting, receiving 35% of the 413 votes cast. He caught 9 passes for 169 yards (both game highs) and broke Wake’s single-half receiving record with 157 in the first half. He also caught a touchdown for the fifth-straight game.
Along with Deac of the Week (and champion of the Surratt Bowl™), Surratt was named receiver of the week by the ACC, and made both the ACC and national teams of the week named by PFF College.
