It’s here. My birthday! I mean, the Wake Forest Demon Deacons opener. While the line has continued to move with more action coming in on Wake Forest, the Deacs have a tough task against Utah State, lead by their star QB Jordan Love.

The Deacs counter with a healthy defense lead by LB Justin Strnad and offense with QB Jamie Newman and RB Cade Carney. Home openers tend to be a bit sloppier as players get adjusted to live tackling and true game speed but I’m feeling lucky and think the Deacs are too focused and well-coached to let a game like this slip away.
