Three former Wake Forest basketball players are participating in the 2019 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Codi Miller-McIntyre is back in action this year with the Los Angeles Lakers’team after playing last summer with the Toronto Raptors’ team.
Doral Moore is back with the Memphis Grizzlies’ team after spending this past season playing for their G League affiliate, the Memphis Hustle.
Jaylen Hoard is playing for the Portland Trail Blazers’ team after going undrafted and then signing a two-way contract with the team.
Miller-McIntyre has played in two of the Lakers’ three games so far, and is averaging 24.5 minutes, 9.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists, and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 33% from the field. Monday night against the Warriors, Miller-McIntyre recorded a double-double in 26 minutes, finishing with 10 rebounds, 10 assists, and 7 points.
Moore has played in one game in which he played nine minutes and had 4 points, 5 rebounds, a steal, and a block while going 2-3 from the field.
Hoard has played in all three of Portland’s games, and is averaging 18.6 minutes, 8.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 0.3 steals per game while shooting 56% from the field.
Miller-McIntyre and the Lakers will next be in action tomorrow night at 9:30pm on ESPN2 against the New York Knicks.
Hoard and the Trail Blazers will next take the court against the Oklahoma City Thunder Thursday night at 8pm on NBATV.
Moore and the Grizzlies will play against the Boston Celtics Thursday night at 10:30pm on ESPN2.
