Adam Bridgers did a great job covering the wave of commitments the Wake Forest Demon Deacons received. With a flurry of commitments, the Deacs class was up to 14 commits, earning a top-25 class ranking by websites like 247sports.
Now, the Deacs have added another over the weekend. As Les Johns of 247 covered, OL Christian Forbes from Plainsboro, NJ committed to the Deacon program over offers from the likes of Duke, Boston College, Rutgers (where his dad went), and others.

Forbes “gets” the program as he had the following to say to Bobby Deren of 247Sports in May.
“I want to go to a school where they prepare me for whatever comes next, whether I do go to the NFL, whether I want to become an athletic trainer or whether I want to work on Wall Street. I want to be around a coach with energy too. My coach emphasizes hard work and responsibility. I what a coach who has energy like my high school coach.”
Wake Forest continues to recruit well and the Deacs look to keep their good momentum with camp coming around the corner.
