Starting soon, myself (Elijah Kim) and SamuraiFoochs will officially co-lead Blogger So Dear

Blogger So Dear has found its next Managing Editor. Riley Johnston did such a great job that two people will have to fill his shoes.

SamuraiFoochs and I have been offered the opportunity to Co-Manage Blogger So Dear on an on-going basis. We’re really excited and stoked to keep the managerial responsibilities in-house. We aim to continue all the great work Riley and the previous site managers (Rob, etc.) have done and hope we can continue to work as a team to cover Wake Forest Athletics.

We are both sincerely humbled and grateful for the opportunity to co-manage this community and personally, I’m very glad that the managing editorial role will stay amongst our core team that has faithfully provided coverage for Wake Forest Athletics these past years.

SamuraiFoochs has been the longest tenured contributor with Blogger So Dear (since 2010, he will post his own introduction in the coming days). He is a second generation Deac and graduated in the 2009 class.

Myself, I graduated in the same class as Riley and Rob (2012) and joined BSD as a contributor about 18 months ago. Ironically, I’m moving further away from the Deacs as I’ve just taken a job in San Diego (cue the Ron Burgundy jokes). In a weird twist of fate, my office mate is also a Wake Forest Alum so it’ll be great to have that connection as I move to a place with only two friends (who are both married and unable to show me the cool places).

Again, we are truly humbled and grateful to soon take over the reins of Blogger So Dear. We look forward to continuing the mission of providing great coverage of all things Wake Forest Athletics.

Go Deacs!
