The Deacs return to the Joel for a what should be a winnable game against the Pitt Panthers. Pitt is a little confusing this season—they have just 2 wins in the conference so far this year, but both of those wins were against teams that are currently ranked in the AP Top 25 (Louisville, FSU). That being said, they are yet to win an ACC game on the road, so the Deacs may have an advantage in this one. The player to watch for the Panthers is freshman guard Xavier Johnson, who is averaging 17.3 points and 3.3 assists per game in conference play.
