John Wolford is playing very well for the Arizona Hotshots of the Alliance of American Football.
After trailing at the half and throwing two first half interceptions, Wolford led a comeback in the second half to allow the Hotshots to beat the Memphis Express 20-18.
According to aaf.com, through two games Wolford is first in the league with 6 touchdown passes, fourth in pass attempts with 51, fourth in pass completions with 32, fourth overall and second among starters in completion percentage at 62.7%, third in passing yards with 469, and tied for second in interceptions with 2.
Wolford is also first among quarterbacks in rushing with 48 rush yards, 15 rush attempts, and an average of 3.2 yards per rushing attempt.
It’s only been two games, but right now John is looking like one of the top candidates to go from the AAF to the NFL after the inaugural season.
We at BloggerSoDear of course wish John all the best and look forward to following his progress the rest of the AAF season.
