Offensive lineman Zach Vaughan has officially signed with the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. He will become one of the newest members of the Beef Boys along with potentially a couple classmates for 2019. Vaughan is rated as a 3 star recruit by 247 Sports, who ranks him as the 151st best OT and 13th best player from Massachusetts. Vaughan chose the Deacs over offers from Connecticut and Massachusetts. Vaughan committed to Wake Forest in April of 2019.
Vaughan earned All-NEPSAC (New England Preparatory School Athletic Council) Team Honors in his senior season.

The Deacs will have to reload a bit in the trenches with OL Justin Herron, Jake Benzinger, and Nathan Gilliam all graduating. Loading up with talent up-front has quietly given the Deacs the ability to produce offensively on a consistent basis under Coach Clawson and Vaughan should be a great fit. Welcome to Wake Forest Zach, and Go Deacs!
