The Wake Forest secondary received a good player at a place of need today, as CB Caelen Carson has signed with Wake Forest. Carson is a 3 star recruit out of New Jersey. He comes in at 6-0, 175 lbs and held offers from Army, Fordham, Howard, and James Madison. In his junior season at North Point, Carson recorded 52 tackles, 1 interception, and 13 passes defended.

As I mentioned earlier, this comes as a place of need as Wake is going to have to replace two really good starters in Essang Bassey and Amari Henderson as both are gone after this year. From just looking at film, Carson screams he loves to be physical with opposing receivers. It’s going to do him wonders learning from someone like Ja’Sir Taylor who loves to play a similar way, put on some muscle and fight for playing time early if he’s up for the challenge.
I love what he brings to the table, and I’m excited to watch him compete.
Welcome to Wake Caelen!
