Offensive lineman George Sell has officially signed with the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. He will become one of the newest members of the Beef Boys along with potentially a couple classmates for 2019. Sell is rated as a 3 star recruit by 247 Sports, who ranks him as the 76th best OT and 35th best player from talent rich Ohio (I would know as a fellow Deac from the great state of Ohio). Sell chose the Deacs over offers from Michigan State, Vanderbilt, Indiana, Georgia Tech, and rivals Duke/Boston College. Sell committed to Wake Forest in June of 2019.
I am very thankful for all the opportunities that I have been given in life. But first I want to thank God for this blessing that he has given me. I also want to thank every person who has helped me along the process as well. I am officially committed to Wake Forest University! pic.twitter.com/1DqgwY2Nop

Sell helped Kenston win their first ever state championship in 2018 and recently had the coaches for his in-home visit.

The Deacs will have to reload a bit in the trenches with OL Justin Herron, Jake Benzinger, and Nathan Gilliam all graduating. Loading up with talent up-front has quietly given the Deacs the ability to produce offensively on a consistent basis under Coach Clawson and Sell should be a great fit. Welcome to Wake Forest George, and Go Deacs!
