Offensive lineman Luke Petitbon has officially signed with Wake Forest and will become the newest member of the Beef Boys™. Petitbon is rated as a 4 star recruit by ESPN and a 3-star prospect by 247 Sports, who ranks him as the 16th best center and the 675th best player in the 2020 class. He chose the Deacs over offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Purdue, Vanderbilt, Virginia, and rival Boston College . Petitbon initially committed to Wake Forest in March of 2019.

After his junior season, Petitbon was selected as a member of the ALL-USA District of Columbia Football Team by USA Today. This offseason, he received an invite to play in the 2020 Under Armour All-American game, which features the top prospects in the country and takes place on January 2nd in Camping World Stadium. He finished off his senior season at Gonzaga College High School being named 1st Team All Conference in the WCAC.
