Brown finished with a career-high 26 points on 11-16 from the field, 2-2 from the line, and 2-4 from three. He also had 6 rebounds in 34 minutes of play.
Chaundee is the second Wake Forest player to receive the ACC’s Player of the Week honors, joining Olivier Sarr after his performance in the Wooden Classic.
He continues to look healthier every game as he recovers from his foot injury, and with only one game in the next three weeks (Saturday at home against North Carolina A&T), Brown should be at full strength by the time the Deacs get into conference play on January 4th against Pitt.
Brown had to play an unfamiliar position being the biggest Deacon on the court at times Saturday with Sarr being out in concussion protocol and Ody Oguama and Isaiah Mucius both being in foul trouble.
Congrats to Chaundee on this award! Go Deacs!
