The Wake Forest Demon Deacons get their shot at the defending national champs in Clemson. The Clemson Tigers essentially control their own destiny for the CFP title defense and the Deacs stand in the way.

Wake Forest rolls in even more short handed than expected, now with WR Sage Surratt out for the season and LB Justin Strnad having been out for the past couple of weeks, the Deacs have lost key players on both sides of the ball. Look for Wake to embrace the next man up mentality.
