The non-conference schedule is finished and the Deacs are opening up ACC play on the road against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Wake hasn’t won in Atlanta since Chris Paul was wearing the old gold and black, so I am not exactly optimistic about the outcome in this one. The silver lining is that this game acts as a buffer between a 300+ strength of schedule in non-conference play and a home game against top ranked Duke, allowing our young team to at least get one ACC game under their belts before going up against the college version of the MonStars.
