The Deacs are headed to Charlottesville to take on UVA and their relentless packline defense. I, for one, am feeling less than confident about our chances in this one.

See, normally when you go 1 on 1 with another ACC opponent, you have a 50-50 chance of winning. But, UVA is a top 5 team at home, so we have a 25% chance, at best, of beating them. And then you add the fact that Tuesday is our toughest day academically to the mix, and our chances of winning drastically go down. See, on any given Tuesday we only have a 33.3% chance of winning, giving UVA a 66.6% chance of winning. But if we take our 33.3% chance and subtract UVA’s 25% chance, then we have an 8.3% chance in Charlottesville. But then you take UVA’s 75% chance if we were to play on any other day, and add their 66.6% chance on a Tuesday, and they have a 141.6% chance of picking up the win. The numbers don’t lie, and they spell disaster for our Deacs in this one.

All joking aside, the Deacs will need to play a near perfect 40 minutes of basketball to have any hope in this one.
