Well it’s a new year and maybe the Deacs can turn over a new leaf and open 2019 with a route of 200+ rated Kenpom team (#NewYearNewBeginnings?). In the last non-conference game before the grueling grind of ACC play starts, the Deacs return home to the Joel to take on the Cornell Big Red. The biggest threat for Cornell is senior guard Matt Morgan, who is averaging 23.4 points per game this season on 52% shooting from the field and 46% shooting from the 3-point line. He has scored 20 or more points in 10 of Cornell’s 13 games. He definitely fits the type to have one of those classic career nights against Wake Forest.
