With the devastating news of LT Justin Herron out for the year (along with Coby Davis), the Deacs will likely use this game as a strong opportunity to get their offensive line to gel together. With the depth chart changing around as Jake Benziger moves to left tackle and Nathan Gilliam starting at right tackle, the Deacs will look to get their offense off to a faster start against FCS opponent, Towson.

Look for the Deacs to continue to trust freshman quarterback Sam Hartman while giving Matt Colburn II and Cade Carney plenty of touches. The defense will have to avoid some mental mistakes but otherwise, this game on long rest should help position the Deacs to press forward with the season.
