In the weekly ACC awards, usually a good sign of how your team’s week went is to have many players on it. The Boston College Eagles had three players earn honors.
While the final score ended in a one score game against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, 41-34, the ACC awarded RB AJ Dillon, QB Anthony Brown, and DL Wyatt Ray.

Brown threw for a career high 304 yards and five touchdowns on an efficient 16-25 passing. He joined Doug Flutie as the one of the only two quarterbacks in school history to have thrown five or more touchdowns in a game without an interception.
Dillon was named the ACC RB of the week for the second week in the row with 185 yards and a touchdown on 33 carries.
Ray set a single-game school record with four sacks, while also having a career-best eight tackles.
All in all, while the Deacs came back to make it a close and entertaining game, let’s hope they have more players on this weekly list and limit the number for their opponents for the weeks to come.
