The ACC announced today that the Notre Dame vs. Wake Forest game will take place at high noon on September 22nd. The game will air on national tv, as ABC will carry the game.

Both teams are currently 2-0, with the Deacs knocking off Towson 51-20, and the Irish winning a closer-than-expected 24-16 game over Ball State.

While Wake fans would certainly have liked to avoid another noon kickoff due to heat, as well as more of a primetime exposure vs. the Irish, it’s a decent consolation prize to play on national television.

If all games proceed as currently scheduled then Wake will have a nine day break heading into the game, but there is a very good chance that the game on Thursday against Boston College might be postponed due to Hurricane Florence.

Notre Dame takes on Vanderbilt this weekend and should be 3-0 when it heads to Winston-Salem to take on the Deacons.
