After deciding to forgo his Senior season to turn pro, Bryant Crawford signed with the Hapoel Gilboa Galil team member of the Winner League, which is Israel’s national league.
OFFICIAL: @WakeMBB's Bryant Crawford signed with @gilboagalil
— Winner League (@WinnerLeague) August 6, 2018
Crawford played recently in the 2018 NBA Summer League with game averages of 1.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.8 assists while playing an average of 8 minutes per game for the Brooklyn Nets. He shot only 17% from the court, as he struggled to stick around with an NBA team.
Crawford will be joining Hapoel Gilboa Galil, who finished 6th place in the Winner League with 17 wins and 16 losses, during the 2017-18 season. The Winner League is a very competitive league. Last season, first and fifth place were only separated by a 4-win difference.
Among other participants of the Winner League is the reigning champion Maccabi Tel-Aviv basketball powerhouse that under David Blatt won the Euroleague, biggest European competition, during the 2013-14 season.
We at Blogger So Dear wish Crawford nothing but the best in this new chapter of his life. Stay tuned for more Wake Forest-related news and as always Go Deacs.
