Wake Forest 2018 Spring Game: Pre-Game Tailgate Options for Fans

Heading to the Spring Game this Saturday? Here’s where you should stop by first.

We are officially just days away from the Wake Forest Demon Deacons being back on the gridiron at BB&T Field. The 2018 Spring Game is this Saturday, April 7, and fans will get a fresh look at stories like Kendall Hinton behind Center, Greg Dortch back in pads, and a defense poised for a year of breakout players. The game itself is free to attend and begins at 3:00 at BB&T Field, with the day’s overall festivities always worth the trip.

For those of you that are looking for additional plans prior to kickoff, here are two great options for you to consider: The BSD Spring Game Tailgate and Young Alumni Fiddlin’ Fish Brewery Meetup.

The Blogger So Dear crew will have its annual Spring Game tailgate open to fans in the Gold Lot on the Bridger Field House side of the stadium. All readers are welcome to stop by and say hey prior to kickoff, with the tailgate likely starting sometime in the late morning. For young Deacon alumni making the trip, there is also a pre-game tailgate option at Fiddlin’ Fish Brewery in downtown Winston prior to kickoff this year. The Deacon Club and a few young alumni have worked to reserve an area at the brewery opening at 12PM up until gametime, with raffles for free Black and Gold gear as well as premium tickets to a future Wake Forest sporting event. The event is free to attend and you can sign up here on the Facebook event if you’re interested.
