WDE Shamar McCollum signed with Wake Forest this morning and will join the likes of Boogie Basham, Mike Allen, Chris Calhoun and Manny Walker terrorizing QB’s in the 2019 season.
McCollum comes in at 6’4, 200 pounds of pure drive and athleticism. He signs with the Deacs after totaling 14 offers including Duke, North Carolina, Missouri and Oregon. He is rated the #29 WDE, #5 player in South Carolina, and #421 player in the country. No shock here as he was recruited by Kevin Higgins who has done a tremendous job recruiting talent.

There isn’t really much to say about this young man that hasn’t been said before. He has a tremendous motor, freak athleticism, a nose for the ball and just wants to win. He competed in a few high level camps and performed off the charts, he played in the Shrine Bowl and blocked a field goal, he does it all.
