ATH/WR Taylor Morin Signs With Wake Forest

The 5-10, 170 pound athlete out of Chantilly, VA is officially a Demon Deacon!

Athlete/Wide Receiver Taylor Morin has officially signed with Wake Forest. The three-star recruit out of Westfield High School in Chantilly, VA has been recruited as an “athlete” overall, but will likely play wide receiver in Winston-Salem.

The 247Sports Composite Ranking has him as the 1,876th ranked player in the nation and the 156th athlete.

Morin committed to Dave Clawson and Wake Forest on June 13th, 2018, as he was part of the big two week period where the Deacs added an absurd amount of talent to its receiving corps moving forward.

He had a handful of offers from really good FCS schools and also Army. The Deacs offered him in early June and he jumped on that offer and shut down his recruitment shortly after.

Morin played all over the field for Westfield, returning kicks, catching the ball at the receiver position, and racking up the stats for a top 100 high school team in the nation. He was recruited by Kevin Higgins and Warren Ruggiero, which suggests he will be a WR in Winston.

His hands really jump out to me in his highlight reel, as did his ability to be at the right place at the right time, particularly in the FS position on the defensive side of the ball.

Welcome to Wake Forest Taylor!
