— Kenneth Walker III 〽️ (@Kenneth_Walker9) December 3, 2018
He originally committed to Kent State on October 8th, 2018, but decommitted on November 26th after Wake Forest offered him a scholarship. A week later he committed to Wake and he is now signed officially!
He combined for 1,616 yards and 24 touchdowns as a junior in rushing and receiving before tacking on another 1,596 and 23 touchdowns as a senior. Overall he finished his high school career with 3,408 rushing yards on 6.9 YPC, and 61 total touchdowns. All stats courtesy of MaxPreps.
Walker may be a lower profile recruit than many of the others, but what we do know is that Coach Clawson and our staff tend to do a very good job evaluating talent. I trust what the staff sees in him and there have been a handful of really good players to commit to Wake late in the process (Jessie Bates sticks out immediately) .
Welcome to the family, Kenneth. Go Deacs.
