Cameron Hite, a 6'2", 215 pound tight end out of Greenville, TN, has signed to become the next member of the Wake Forest football team.
247sports lists Hite is a composite 3 star recruit, and 247’s rankings evaluate him as the 46th best tight end in the country.
Though he is going to play tight end for the Demon Deacons, he also played linebacker in high school, as you will see from his Hudl film below. He's a big body with a major nose for the ball whether playing on offense or defense. Dave Clawson described him on Twitter as a “physical tight end with great hands.” I’ll certainly take those two qualities in a tight end.
He's big but also seems to have speed in the open field, and also seems to have good instincts and quick decision making, whether tackling as a linebacker or blocking and catching as a tight end.
Hite chose Wake Forest over offers from a plethora of other schools, including Air Force, Appalachian State, Memphis, Middle Tennessee State, and others.
Welcome to the family, Cameron, and Go Deacs!
