The Wake Forest Demon Deacons continue their preparations for their bowl game against the Memphis Tigers. As the team prepares for their third straight bowl game (and hopeful victory), a prime example of a player who helps show the progress of the program-building by Coach Clawson continues to excel in the NFL.

Jessie Bates is ranked the second highest of rookie safeties entering Week 15. Bates leads the Cincinnati Bengals with 94 total tackles. Along with his tackles, Bates continues to show off his playmaking abilities with three interceptions (with one returned for a touchdown).

As Bates looks up to rack up his strong rookie campaign, he is also potentially a Pro Bowler.

Though the clock is winding down on the Pro Bowl vote, seeing Bates in Orlando as a rookie would only continue to show the hard work he has put in his career. For those who were wondering, Bates was a 2 star recruit according to Rivals.
