Wake Forest (3-3) travels to Florida State (3-3) on October 20th (Saturday), with a surprising 3:30 kickoff on ESPN2. With the Deacs getting embarassed against Clemson and Florida State collapsing after a 27-7 lead against the Miami Hurricanes, this game provides a unique opportunity.

Florida State has gotten off to a rough start with new coach Willie Taggart. With ACC losses to Syracuse and Miami, Florida State looks to get to 2-3 in the conference standings. The Seminoles have struggled this year but look to improve their 2-1 record at home. Led by QB Deondre Francois and RB Cam Akers, the Noles will try to attack the suspect Wake Forest defense that just surrendered 63 points to the Clemson Tigers.

Wake Forest will use this opportunity to get in the W column in conference play. QB Sam Hartman will try and get the ball as he can to WR Greg Dortch, who leads the Deacs with 592 receiving yards.

This week is a massive chance for both teams to get on the positive side of .500. We will continue to have all the coverage here for you this and next week with the bye.
